High Five for Friday! | March 15

This week has been a blur!!!  I was in Denver, Colorado until the wee hours of Tuesday, and went back to work Wednesday... Myself and 3 college friends met there for a board review.  We have to take a "recertification" test to maintain our license as a physician assistant.  Unfortunately, we have to take this test every so many years - and it covers all topics in medicine regardless of your field of medicine.

Anywaysssssssssssssssssssss

High five! for the following reasons:

1. Study, study study.  We spent 3 full days in lecture from 645 a - 5ish p.  Holy long days and holy coffee drinking.  It def was an amazing review.  It was put on by a super cool cardiology pa.  I plan to go to another CME event by Certified Medical Educators in the future!  My test date is planned for this coming Friday, March 22 - wish me luck!

2. Staying on track.  Well, trying to stay on track!  I came home and have consecutively exercised *three* days in a row.  Phew, I am glad I did it!  I cheated a bit on my eating so hopefully I can recoup my indulgences by trying harder now that I am home and able to cook for myself more. (says the girl who had mexican for dinner last night!--- with a corona! haha)

3. St. Patrick's Day! Fun holiday for everyone.  Except I'm going to try to be a responsible adult and career oriented woman and stay home.  That's right.  No green beer for this girl.  Well, that is unless I get the studying done on my "study schedule".... or unless Folgers convinces me to go out ;)  (Folgers = forrest = hubby)

4. Great coworkers.  I have really enjoyed my colleagues and my job recently.  Feeling blessed and thought I'd share :D

5. Pandora.  Evenings I am home alone.. I *love* to blare either my country pandora station.. or sometimes when I'm feeling it Staind.  It helps keep me entertained the hours I spend sitting on my bum in PhotoShop processing images!

I think we all try to be responsible and career oriented but it's okay to have a little fun sometimes! Work hard, play hard!
